Camp Walk and Weed at Lake Ashby Park

Join Volusia County's Environmental Specialists Holly Giles and Tommy Nordmann around the group campsite to chat about invasive plant species and how they can change the ecology and native plant species. Help remove Coral Ardisia from the campsite, walk the one-mile loop trail, and look for birds and wildlife. Bring garden gloves and hand clippers. All ages are welcome. Green Volusia Volunteers sponsor this event through Volusia County Environmental Management. **Important note: Please arrive 15 minutes before to complete a waiver form. Waivers must be completed in full to participate in the program.
